I was born into a poor family who originates from Pakistan but moved to the United Kingdom in 1979 for a better life and more opportunities.
I went through the education system failing my GCSE’S and then dropping out of college after taking a business level 3 diploma.
I knew that the education system wasn't built for my purpose or vision so I had no motivation to succeed.
I then went on to work a job in retail at Primark and JD sports after quitting college making minimum wage.
That lasted 8 months. I quit due to a lack of motivation and conflict with my bosses.
I’m not built for a job or taking orders. it doesn't agree with my DNA. I’m built for making my own destiny. I knew that already back then.
The year was 2015 and this was when my entrepreneurial journey started.
Let me tell you about it.
Very quickly, my idyllic childhood started to fade. My mother separated with my step-dad and we were plunged back into our old lives: he cut us off entirely.
At the age of fourteen, I was faced with an awful burden: taking care of myself and my mother.
So I started my first business…
I always loved high-end fashion and brands like Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin and Giuseppe Zanotti but I could never afford to buy them for myself.
That’s when I came up with the idea to start a high-end fashion business, buying and reselling clothing, as I knew the best places to get hold of these brands for a cheap price.
I started by building an Instagram page and making a website on Weebly for marketing and taking orders.
By then I was selling high-end sneakers to celebrities, footballers, and other high profile customers. This enabled me to save up enough cash flow to start another business which would be a Shopify Dropshipping business.
In 2017 I launched my first Shopify Dropshipping business selling phone accessories.
For the whole of 2017, I struggled to succeed with Shopify Dropshipping because I wasn't good at Facebook Ads and found it very challenging.
In 2018 I started a special Christmas store for Q4, selling Christmas gifts ranging from kids’ toys to beauty products.
This store generated over 1 million dollars in revenue.
By then I was selling high-end sneakers to celebrities, footballers, and other high profile customers. This enabled me to save up enough cash flow to start another business which would be a Shopify Dropshipping business.
For the whole of 2017, I struggled to succeed with Shopify Dropshipping because I wasn't good at Facebook Ads and found it very challenging.
As a kid, I struggled with the traditional education system and my vision is to be able to change it so future generations have an opportunity to acquire knowledge that is meaningful for what they want to achieve.
At a fraction of the price of college tuition, so it can be truly accessible.
E-commerce Mentoring is my work towards leaving a mark in the education system.
I’ve built a company dedicated to teaching aspiring entrepreneurs everything I wish I had learned in the very expensive traditional education system, but alas did not.
